    Osteopathic treatment may cause minor spatial shifts in the maxilla for temporomandibular disorders (TMD) patients. This pilot study suggests osteopathy could influence maxillary structures, warranting further investigation for TMD treatment.

    • Three TMD patients received osteopathic treatment alongside standard care.
    • Maxillary impressions and mandibular occlusal splints were fabricated before and after treatment.
    • 3D scanning and superimposition of splints and impressions analyzed spatial alterations.

    • Inconsistent spatial changes were detected in posterior maxillary areas and mandibular splints.
    • Maximum observed absolute spatial changes reached 0.50 mm.
