Scleral buckling (SB) surgery using solid silicone elements is a safe and effective treatment for rhegmatogenous retinal detachment (RRD). Careful patient selection is crucial for optimal anatomical and visual outcomes in RRD repair.

Background:

Purpose of the Study:

  • To describe the clinical profile of patients undergoing non-drainage SB surgery with solid silicone elements for RRD.
