Abstract:
A system for the coordinated care of elderly people in geriatrics was set up at Luxembourg general hospital. The creation of the short-stay geriatric unit resulted in a reorganisation which questioned the notions of team, cohesion and skill. This article describes the successful experience and the benefit it has brought patients.
