C-reactive protein: an evaluation of two rapid assay techniques

Abstract:
Two rapid assay techniques, fluorescence polarimetry and liquid phase immunoprecipitation, were evaluated for measurement of serum C-reactive protein. Radial immunodiffusion assay was used as a reference method. Fluorescence polarimetry was superior to liquid phase immunoprecipitation in respect of performance, ease of operation and cost.
