Background:

Fingertip reconstruction presents challenges in preserving aesthetics and function.
Conventional V-Y advancement flaps are common but have limitations.

Observation:

A crescent-shaped volar advancement flap utilizing a V-Y concept was developed.
This technique employs a curved incision to maintain fingertip contour and the distal digital crease.

Findings:

Two patients underwent successful fingertip reconstruction using the described crescent flap.
The technique demonstrated technical simplicity and minimal donor site morbidity.
