Suboptimal risk factor control in patients undergoing elective coronary or peripheral percutaneous intervention

Background:

• The American Heart Association (AHA) established 7 ideal cardiovascular (CV) health metrics to reduce morbidity and mortality.

• To assess the achievement of ideal CV health metrics in patients undergoing elective percutaneous coronary or peripheral intervention.
