Background:

Denture labeling is crucial for identification in social and forensic contexts.
Existing denture marking methods often fall short in terms of cost-effectiveness or data storage capacity.

Purpose of the Study:

To introduce a simple, cost-effective, and feasible denture marking system.
To utilize portable Micro Secure Digital (MicroSD) cards for denture identification.

Main Methods:

A depression was created on the lingual flange of a trial mandibular denture.
An acrylic wax flap was processed to house and conceal a MicroSD card.
The flap was designed for easy access to the MicroSD card.

Main Results:

The proposed system offers a simple and inexpensive solution for denture marking.
MicroSD cards provide substantial data storage capacity for denture information.

Conclusions:

The MicroSD card denture marking system is practical and meets essential requirements.
This method is particularly relevant for widespread adoption, considering mobile phone prevalence.
