Summary

Hydroxyapatite (HA) and titanium (Ti) prostheses for ossicular replacement surgery showed similar short-term hearing results. Both materials, partial or total ossicular replacement prostheses (PORP or TORP), effectively reduced air-bone gaps, indicating good functional outcomes.
