Uhthoff's phenomenon, worsening neurological symptoms with heat, affects similar proportions of Japanese patients with multiple sclerosis (MS) and neuromyelitis optica-related disorders (NMOrd). Motor and sensory issues were more common than visual ones in both conditions.
