Summary

Retroperitoneal laparoendoscopic single-site surgery (LESS) offers a minimally invasive option for kidney biopsy when percutaneous biopsy is contraindicated. However, conventional retroperitoneal laparoscopic renal biopsy was chosen for a Jehovah's Witness patient with obesity due to LESS technique challenges.
