  • The patient experienced a year of left flank pain and a month of dyspnea, indicating significant clinical impact.

  • Surgical excision via left thoracotomy was performed for definitive management.

Findings:

  • Pathologic examination identified a rare malignant spindle cell tumor with aトリpartite (tripartite) composition: osteosarcoma, pleomorphic sarcoma, and leiomyosarcoma.
  • The tumor demonstrated aggressive growth, increasing by over 10 cm within a year.

  • This case highlights the importance of thorough differential diagnosis for thoracic masses, even those with a history of prior infection.
