Cystic dilatation of the lacrimal gland is a rare condition.

Observation:

A case of lacrimal duct cyst suppuration presented with severe symptoms.
Symptoms included visual loss, external ophthalmoplegia, proptosis, and ptosis.

Findings:

This case represents a rare instance of lacrimal ductal cyst abscess.
The literature review indicates extreme rarity, with only one prior reported case.

Implications:

Early diagnosis and management of lacrimal duct cysts are crucial.
Understanding this condition can improve patient outcomes and treatment strategies.
