Background:

Managing auricular dressings is challenging for medical staff and patients.
The primary goal is to protect exposed cartilage without distorting ear anatomy.

Purpose of the Study:

To introduce a simple, effective, and non-distorting method for dressing ear wounds.

Main Methods:

A "pocket sandwich" dressing is created using two lengths of adhesive tape.
The tape is applied to the anterior and posterior aspects of the ear, covering the defect occlusively.

Main Results:

The dressing effectively covers post-surgical defects on any part of the ear.
This method is inexpensive and easily reproducible by patients.
