DPP-4 inhibitors improve liver dysfunction in type 2 diabetes mellitus

Dipeptidyl peptidase-4 (DPP-4) inhibitors may improve liver function in type 2 diabetes patients. This study found significant reductions in liver enzymes (AST and ALT) after 6 months of DPP-4 inhibitor use.
