    Background:

    • Perinatal transmission of Hepatitis B virus (HBV) poses a significant public health concern.

    Purpose of the Study:

    • To evaluate the effectiveness of Singapore's voluntary hepatitis B immunization program.
    • To assess the prevention of perinatal HBV transmission.
    • To monitor antibody persistence and inform booster dose strategies.

    Main Methods:

    • Screening of 68,845 mothers for Hepatitis B surface antigen (HBsAg) and Hepatitis B e antigen (HBeAg).
