Pituitary pars intermedia dysfunction does not necessarily impair insulin sensitivity in old horses

A study on aged horses found that Equine Pituitary Pars Intermedia Dysfunction (PPID) did not significantly impair insulin sensitivity or muscle signaling pathways compared to healthy aged horses. This challenges previous assumptions about PPID and metabolic health in older horses.
