Acute experimental pancreatitis (AEP) in dogs significantly impacts blood platelet function, causing a drop in platelet count and altered aggregation sensitivity. These changes correlate with increased Beta-thromboglobulin (Beta-TG) and thromboxane B2 (TXB2) levels.
