Severe aortic stenosis: forgotten associations.

Severe aortic stenosis can cause right heart failure and Heyde syndrome, characterized by anemia from angiodysplasia. Prompt valve replacement surgery improved heart function and stabilized hemoglobin levels in a 68-year-old man.
