Preconception interventions improve pregnancy rates and reduce complications in infertile couples.
Successful pregnancy is highly valued by couples undergoing infertility treatment.
This study examines essential preconception interventions prior to infertility treatment cycles.

Purpose of the Study:

To investigate the extent of necessary preconception interventions among infertile couples before starting infertility treatment.
To identify areas of weakness in preconception care for optimizing infertility treatment outcomes.

Cross-sectional study involving 268 individuals at fertility clinics in Isfahan, Iran.
Data collected via questionnaires and medical records.
Descriptive and analytic statistical methods used for analysis.

Disease treatment interventions and folic acid prescription were common (47.06% and 79.9%).
Referral for genetics counseling was notably low (98.9% not conducted).
