Antibody screening in multitransfused patients: a prerequisite before each transfusion

This case highlights the incidental discovery of anti-S and anti-Lu(a) antibodies in a beta-thalassemia major patient undergoing regular red blood cell transfusions. Regular antibody screening is crucial for early detection in multi-transfused individuals.
