Association between adiponectin receptor 2 gene polymorphisms and cerebral infarction

The adiponectin receptor 2 gene (ADIPOR2) rs12342 AA genotype and A allele are associated with an increased risk of ischemic stroke. This finding is particularly relevant for atherosclerosis cerebral infarction.
