Does papillary thyroid carcinoma have a better prognosis with or without Hashimoto thyroiditis?

Hashimoto thyroiditis (HT) in papillary thyroid carcinoma (PTC) patients is linked to fewer aggressive features and a lower chance of recurrence. This suggests that concurrent HT may indicate a better prognosis for PTC.
