The ocular hypotensive effect of saffron extract in primary open angle glaucoma: a pilot study

Aqueous saffron extract significantly reduced intraocular pressure in primary open-angle glaucoma patients. This ocular hypotensive effect was observed after three weeks of oral saffron extract therapy.
