Abstract:
A patient with a pervasive developmental disorder was treated in the intensive care room for over a year; the freedom to come and go is an inalienable human right. The apparent contradiction between appropriate psychiatric care and the clinical condition of a patient with severe TED and intellectual deficit and the recommendations of the High Authority of Health is addressed.
