Perioperative transfusion threshold and ambulation after hip revision surgery--a randomized trial

A higher hemoglobin threshold for red blood cell (RBC) transfusion during hip revision surgery led to faster Timed Up and Go-test (TUG) results. However, the clinical significance of this finding for ambulation recovery remains uncertain.
