Abstract:
The author's preliminary experience with the surgical technique and results of percutaneous microcompression of the gasserian ganglion in treating trigeminal neuralgia is reported. Indications for the single percutaneous methods - radiofrequency thermocoagulation, glycerol rhizotomy and microcompression of the gasserian ganglion are considered.
