Problems of taking embryonic nervous tissues for transplantation purposes

Abstract:
Legal miniabortions were utilized for taking 106 samples of the uterine cavity contents from 83 women. The material consisted of 15 embryonic and 19 maternal tissues. The embryonic nervous tissue was discovered in 7.7% of the specimens examined. The suitability of obtaining samples for transplantation with the currently used technique of legal abortions is considered.
