Deinococcus enclensis sp. nov., isolated from a marine sediment sample

A novel pale-pink bacterium, Deinococcus enclensis sp. nov., was discovered in Indian marine sediment. This Gram-positive coccus represents a new species within the Deinococcus genus, expanding microbial diversity knowledge.
