Routine voiding cystourethrograms (VCUG) may not be necessary for healthy children with unilateral multicystic dysplastic kidney (MCDK). A low incidence of clinically significant vesicoureteral reflux (VUR) was observed, questioning the routine use of VCUG in these patients.
