Abstract:
This case study highlights a unique presentation of an 8-year-old girl with a globe rupture. The recognition of globe rupture is a challenge for all providers. If left untreated or unrecognized, the sequelae are devastating. The assessment and management of this patient are discussed herein. Maintaining a high level of suspicion is the best approach to ensure a positive outcome.
