Background:

Tuberculomas are uncommon manifestations of tuberculosis affecting various body parts.
Tuberculosis of the brain (neurotuberculosis) is a rare but serious condition.
This case highlights a rare instance of brain tuberculomas in a young patient.

Observation:

A 15-year-old girl presented with headache and general weakness, with no signs of primary pulmonary tuberculosis.
Radiological imaging, including CT and MRI, revealed enhancing meningeal rings suggestive of tuberculomas.
Diagnostic challenges were noted due to the rarity and atypical presentation of brain tuberculosis.

Findings:

Histopathological examination and microbiological tests confirmed the diagnosis of brain tuberculomas.
Acid-fast bacilli (AFB) smear and culture of biopsy specimens were key diagnostic tools.
The patient showed a complete recovery after surgical intervention and anti-tuberculosis drug therapy.
