Abstract:
Lung cancer is the leading cause of cancer related deaths in the United States. Most patients with lung cancer present with advanced disease at the time of diagnosis owing to multiple metastases. However, metastases to the duodenum are extremely rare. We present a case of acute small bowel obstruction in a patient owing to metastatic disease to the duodenum from previously undiagnosed lung adenocarcinoma.
