Serum thyroglobulin adds no additional value to ultrasonographic features in a thyroid malignancy

Preoperative serum thyroglobulin (Tg) levels do not aid in diagnosing thyroid nodules. Suspicious ultrasound features are the primary indicators for identifying malignant thyroid nodules.
