Summary

Chronic sodium fluoride (NaF) exposure in rats increased connexin 43 (Cx43) expression and alkaline phosphatase (ALP) activity in dental pulp, potentially stimulating dentin mineralization. Incisor growth was affected, but mandibular growth remained unchanged.
