Aim:
To analyse influence on alcohol marketing policy in New Zealand.
Method:
Document and literature review.
Results:
There is a powerful argument and popular support for restricting alcohol marketing but no significant policy action taken.
Conclusion:
Greater priority has been placed on the profits of influential corporations compared with protecting the health of future generations of New Zealanders.
