A novel approach to life support training using "action-linked phrases"

Using simple "Action-Linked Phrases" during cardiopulmonary arrests (CPAs) significantly speeds up the initiation of chest compressions. Teaching these phrases in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) courses increases their use and improves team performance.
