Background:

It can lead to myelopathy via direct spinal cord compression or ischemic injury.
Surgical intervention aims to decompress neural structures, correct sagittal balance, and achieve spinal stabilization.

Purpose of the Study:

To evaluate the efficacy of an anterior surgical approach for treating flexible cervical kyphosis.
To assess the outcomes of anterior decompression and stabilization in a patient with post-surgical cervical kyphosis.

Main Methods:

A 35-year-old female patient underwent anterior corpectomy (C4-C5) with a titanium mesh placement for flexible cervical kyphosis.

This was performed after a previous cervical-bulbar ependymoma resection (C1-C5 laminectomy, C2-C5 laminoplasty).
