Summary

Bicortical implant placement enhances early osseointegration stability and bone response compared to monocortical placement. Surface coatings like hydroxyapatite/bioactive glass (HA/BG) also improved bone-to-implant contact, but mechanical stability was primarily influenced by anchorage type.
