To determine patient demand for video consultations in general practice.
To evaluate the feasibility of implementing video consultations.

Semi-structured interviews with 25 general practice visitors.
A pilot study evaluating video consultation feasibility for 21 patients.

Main Results:

Patient opinions on video consultations varied.
Limited perceived suitability for initial consultations or remote work locations.
High patient satisfaction (over 80%) despite frequent technical problems (over 80%).

Conclusions:

The need for video consultations in general practice appears limited.
Video consultations are feasible and can be satisfactory despite technical challenges.
