Epigenetic patterns in successful weight loss maintainers: a pilot study.

DNA methylation patterns in leukocytes of successful weight loss maintainers resemble normal weight individuals more than obese individuals. These findings suggest epigenetic patterns are associated with weight status and may change with weight loss.
