NF-κB is required for dengue virus NS5-induced RANTES expression

Dengue virus (DENV) infection triggers kidney injury by activating the NS5 protein. This protein increases the expression of RANTES, a cytokine, by enhancing NF-κB binding to the RANTES promoter.
