[Surgical management of tracheal tumors]

Eighteen operations on 16 patients with tracheal tumors were reported. Of these cases, 11 had primary tracheal tumors and 6 had secondary ones. The tumors were malignant in 10, low malignancy in 3, and benign in the remaining 3 cases. The diagnostic procedure, operative technique, and management of postoperative complications are discussed.
