Immediately loaded non-submerged versus delayed loaded submerged dental implants: a meta-analysis

Immediately loaded non-submerged dental implants showed a higher implant failure rate compared to delayed loaded submerged implants. However, no significant differences were found in postoperative infection or marginal bone loss between the two implant methods.
