Summary

Antibodies targeting Ovine herpesvirus-2 (OvHV-2) glycoproteins gB and gH/gL neutralized the virus in rabbits, preventing sheep-associated malignant catarrhal fever (SA-MCF). These findings support their use in future SA-MCF vaccines.
