Melatonin treatment improves primary progressive multiple sclerosis: a case report.

- Over 4 years of melatonin treatment, the patient's EDSS score improved to 6.0, indicating substantial recovery of motor function.
- This improvement correlated temporally with melatonin initiation and demonstrated long-lasting effects.

- Melatonin may represent a novel therapeutic agent for managing primary progressive multiple sclerosis.
- Further research is warranted to explore the neuroprotective and restorative mechanisms of melatonin in neurodegenerative conditions.
