Interleukin-6: a possible inflammatory link between vitiligo and type 1 diabetes

This study reveals higher inflammatory markers, particularly interleukin-6 (IL-6), in patients with both vitiligo and type 1 diabetes (T1D). These findings suggest IL-6 plays a key role in the pathogenesis of vitiligo-associated T1D.
