Elevated Factor VIII (FVIII) levels in acute ischemic stroke (AIS) patients correlate with a higher risk of recurrent thrombotic events (RTEs) during hospitalization. This finding suggests FVIII may be a biomarker for stroke recurrence and associated complications.
