A case of angiosarcoma arising from internal jugular vein

This case report details a rare neck angiosarcoma originating from the internal jugular vein. The patient underwent successful surgical resection and radiotherapy with no recurrence observed.

- Immunostains for CD31, CD34, factor VIII-related antigen, and D2-40 were positive.
- The patient received postoperative radiotherapy (66Gy) to the right neck and upper mediastinum.

- This is the first reported case of angiosarcoma originating from the internal jugular vein.
- The successful management highlights the importance of accurate diagnosis and multimodal treatment for rare neck malignancies.
