Summary

A rare complete brachioradialis tendon rupture occurred in a waterskiing accident. Surgical intervention combined with physiotherapy proved effective for recovery in this case study.

Background:

Isolated complete brachioradialis tendon ruptures are exceptionally rare.
Limited existing literature addresses the etiology and management of such injuries.

Observation:

A 44-year-old male sustained a complete, closed brachioradialis tendon rupture after a waterskiing incident.
Clinical examination, imaging, and operative findings were documented.
The patient was otherwise healthy.

Findings:

Successful management involved a combined surgical and staged physiotherapy approach.
This strategy led to positive final outcomes for the patient.
