Main Methods:

  • Fifteen normal weight and 15 overweight males underwent 30 minutes of cycling exercise.
  • Vascular function was assessed via forearm blood flow (FBF) and forearm vascular resistance (FVR).
  • Arterial stiffness (pulse wave velocity, augmentation index) and autonomic function (baroreceptor sensitivity, heart rate variability) were measured.
